Children’s Pool Closed For Repairs

Last Saturday, Scott Dudley of Dudley Pools, LLC, did repairs to the caulking of the children’s pool deck. Unfortunately, some of the material used was defective and has created the need to keep this pool closed until the issue can be corrected. It will be necessary remove this defective material and replace it with new caulk material. Until that time, this pool will remain closed. Yellow tape has been placed around the children’s pool notifying everyone to refrain from using this pool. It is anticipated that all repairs will be completed at the start of next week. The Board of Directors appreciates the patience of the community in this regard.

The large pool has no restrictions on use, so, if the weather and temperature cooperate, have some fun.

A reminder to everyone; for your safety please do not admit anyone who you do not recognize as a Creekview resident. To gain access, electronic key fobs are made available to all residents. A number of notices have been generated advising the community for the need to have these electronic devices registered. To date only 110 of the 249 residences in the Creekview Community have registered their electronic key. If any resident has not registered their key fob, please do so at your earliest convenience. Unregistered electronic key fobs will not work to open the gate.

Only those residents with these registered electronic key fobs should be permitted access to the pool and common area. Allowing individuals who are not Creekview residents, and who are not accompanied guests of a Creekview resident access to the pool and common area, can result in loss of amenity usage for that resident who allows entry to unknown individuals.

Please help keep the pool area safe and inviting for every registered Creekview resident. Each of us has a vested interest to ensure that the amenity area is kept attractive and welcoming to all registered Creekview residents. Your attention, support, and vigilance is greatly appreciated.

Pool Opening Preparation

Members of the board would like to thank Ann Hankey and her boys, and Ripal Barot for taking time to assist in the preparation for opening day of the pool season, tomorrow, April 1, 2018. It was hoped that more members of the community would share some of their time to assist in this effort. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The help provided by the Hankey family and Mr. Barot was greatly appreciated. Mr. Scott Dudley of Dudley Pools, LLC will put the finishing touches on the pools today, and everything will be ready for tomorrow’s opening.

If your key FOB does not work, please check to see if you completed the registration of this electronic key. If you have not, please contact Real Manage via on Monday to register your FOB. If you need to replace your FOB as you have misplaced it or need to secure one as you do not have one also contact Real Manage at To ensure the safety of all those using the pool and common area, residents are reminded not to admit anyone who is not recognized as a Creekview resident.

The pool hours have been posted on the door area of the pool. For your edification the hours are: Monday: 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm and Tuesday through Sunday: 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. Monday from 8:00 am until 1:00 pm is the time set aside for pool and porter maintenance. Your electronic key FOB will not work before or after the posted hours for each respective day.

Date Change for Community Clean-Up and Mulch Application

Due to a number of conflicting schedules the Creekview HOA Community Clean-Up Day and Mulch Application throughout the community is being moved back a week to Saturday, May 12, 2018. Time is still the same for start: 9:00 am. Please bring your shovels, rakes, and wheelbarrows. Mulch will be delivered on Friday, May 11, 2018. At that time two types of mulch will be delivered in bulk. The first is a mulch specific for the play-scape basin. The other will be mulch specific for around trees and for placement in the planting beds in and around the pool area. Bring the family! Coffee and doughnuts in the morning. If we find that we get into the lunch hours pizza and soda/juice will also be provided for everyone who provides a helping hand. Many hands make light work. Pool Access

Next Sunday, April 1, 2018, the Creekview Pool will open for the season. Hours remain the same as in years’ past. Tuesday through Sunday; 8:00 am until 10:00 pm. Monday the hours are; 1:00 pm until 10:00 pm. Monday from 8:00 am until 1;00 pm, the pool is routinely closed to access to permit pool maintenance and porter service to our restroom facilities and pool common area. The play-scape and open space is available everyday from 8:00 am until 10:00 pm.

An audit on the entry key FOBS was completed this winter. To date, only 110 of the 249 residences have registered their entry FOBS. If you have not done so, now is the time to get this completed before the pool opens. If your FOB is not registered you will not have access for pool entry. Delay in getting your FOB registered may result in a financial penalty to do so once the season begins.

If you are leasee, please contact your owner to determine location of the FOB for your residence. Every effort will be made to ensure that any resident of Creekview will be in possession of the appropriate entry FOB for pool access. Neighbor, help your neighbor who might be new to the community get a FOB if they need one, or get the one they have registered if it has not been. For the safety of all those who use the amenity center, DO NOT PERMIT ACCESS TO ANYONE WHO IS NOT A CREEKVIEW RESIDENT OR IS NOT A GUEST OF A CREEKVIEW RESIDENT! There is a reason that entry can only be made to this facility by those who have a registered entry FOB, and it is important for the protection of those who are using the facility to deny access to anyone not recognized as a Creekview resident. Each resident may have up to four (4) guests visiting and using the amenity center and pool when that resident is present at this facility. There is a list of safety items and facility use restrictions posted on both the north and west walls of the pool common area. We ask that you familiarize yourselves with this list. Violations of these items can result with loss of access and privileges to this facility. Discussion is underway to establish a reservation system for those residents who wish to utilize the pool common area for small gatherings. More to follow in this regard.

There have been a number of security and electronic upgrades to the aging electronic system of the amenity center. With these upgrades, a door entry alarm was added. Should the pool entry door be left open longer than 45 seconds, an alarm will sound to remind those entering or leaving to ensure that the pool entry door is shut completely.

Every effort will be made to ensure that this facility is safe, secure, and an inviting place for every Creekview resident and their families. Each resident is asked to take an “ownership” role in ensuring that should there be any issues or concerns these are addressed immediately. Each of us has an equal stake in ensuring that the Creekview Community continues to be a wonderful place to live and raise our families. Community Clean Up and Re-Mulch Day

On Saturday, May 5, 2018, plans have been made to have a community clean up day. At that time, plans are to re-mulch the play-scape area and the tree lines along both Slate Creek and Creek Vista. The plant beds in the pool area, around the pool building, and the open space area on Golden Arrow will also receive mulch this day. Needless to say, the help of the community will be very much appreciated.

In an effort to be fiscally responsible to the community, the Board determined significant savings could be realized if mulch was purchased in bulk and the community assisted in providing labor to distribute the mulch throughout the Creekview Community. The Board of Directors found this to be the case last season when, with the help of several residents, 32 yards of kid friendly mulch was added to the play-scape basin. For perspective, by buying the mulch in bulk last year, and benefiting from resident support for labor, the Community saw a savings of over $3000 relative to this task.

We are asking the Creekview Community to become involved on Saturday, May 5th to assist with this even bigger clean-up and replenishment activity. Bring your shovels, rakes, work gloves, and wheel barrows. We shall have a couple of trailers to move the mulch from the pool parking area where it will be delivered to the respective sites throughout the HOA. Plans are to have a Bobcat also on site to get these trailers filled each time, and to move the kiddie mulch to the play-scape basin where those with shovels and rakes can level it evenly.

At many sites, especially along our tree belts, re-mulching has not been done in over two (2) years, and these areas are now exposed soil which has been running off to the contiguous sidewalks when the irrigation system is active. Not only will the re-mulching improve overall appearance, but it will protect against erosion of soil now being experienced.

So, please take a few hours to help on Saturday, May 5, 2018 “spruce” up Creekview. Your participation will get this job done “lickety split”. Bring the family! This is, after all, a Community activity. We are all “stockholders” in Creekview HOA. Your investment of time and “elbow grease” will surely make a difference in the completion of this effort.

Plans are to serve coffee and doughnuts to get those landscaping juices flowing. Depending on how long this effort takes, consideration is being given to provide a lunch of pizza and soda or juice for all those hang in there until the end. Remember, bring your shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, and work gloves! In advance, the Board of Directors so greatly appreciate the anticipated support of this endeavor.

Pool Opening and Preparation

Next Sunday, April 1, 2018, the Creekview Pool will open its doors for the season. To prepare for this day, members of the community are asked to help with a clean-up day on Saturday, March 31, 2018. Activities will begin at 9:00 am at the pool. At this time the pool common area, bathrooms, shower area, and furniture will be power washed and made ready for opening day. Needless to say, many hands will make light work.
Coffee and doughnuts will be served to get everyone ready to go. This shouldn’t take more than a few hours; especially if there is a great turnout to pitch into this effort. Bring the family!
Dudley Pools, Inc will have completed all our pool related maintenance activities which include the restoration of the children’s pool filter and the replacement of all the caulk and sealant around both pools. All winter related damage to our bathrooms due to the freeze have also been completed, so opening day, with your help, will be smooth sailing.
